The back of your wedding dress is so important, as this is what your guests will be looking at for the entire duration of your ceremony. During your first dance the back of your dress will be on show for all those beautiful photos. We are increasingly seeing the back of the wedding dress becoming the focal point or feature of the gown. Feature backs can be low, illusion, glitzy, lace or statement. Your dress will be more like a work of art than a dress.
Who does it suit?
Most brides can wear a dress with a feature back, as there are so many styles available. If you have a slender, toned back, then a low feature back may be the one for you. If you want a more vintage, delicate and pretty look then an illusion back with lace appliques could be perfect.
