A Fun-Filled Wedding at Marleybrook House in Canterbury, Kent

We’re so excited to share the gorgeous wedding day of our lovely bride Ellis and her new husband Duncan, who celebrated their marriage at the ever-popular Marleybrook House on 29th May 2025.

Set in the Kent countryside, Marleybrook House is known for its whimsical charm and vintage funfair – the perfect setting for a relaxed, joy-filled day with plenty of laughter, fun, and memorable moments. Surrounded by family, friends, and glorious (if slightly unexpected!) sunshine, Ellis and Duncan’s celebration was nothing short of magical.

Here’s what Ellis had to say about their special day:

“Our wedding day was amazing – a beautiful ceremony, incredible venue, and everyone’s highlight was the funfair! We were lucky with the weather as it poured in the morning, but the sun came through for us just in time.
We’re both food-obsessed, so we were thrilled that the food was delicious – we had a chilled-out BBQ, pizza, cake and even a crisp wall! With so many children at the wedding, Marleybrook was perfect – the fair and the play park kept them entertained all day. It was honestly an unforgettable day!”

Ellis found her dream dress at Bridal Boutique at Chilham in August 2024- the stunning ‘Cady’ gown by Justin Alexander. This soft tulle A-line dress features a delicately embellished bodice of silver crystals, sequins and beading that adds a real sense of luxury and elegance to an effortlessly wearable silhouette.

“Buying my dress at Chilham Bridal was so chilled out. Carly was lovely and really helped me to look through lots of different styles. She made me feel so comfortable but also gave great advice – and that’s how I found my dream dress!”

Happy first anniversary to these two 🥂 I think this has to be my favourite photograph from their wedding. It had absolutely poured down during their ceremony but just as they were sealing their marriage with a kiss, the sun came bursting through the clouds and the day was bright and beautiful. We went into the open part of the San Galgano Abbey for photographs and they just look so happy and at ease with each other is this shot. I also love the light! Some moments are just so memorable and that’s what having a good photographer there is for; capturing them and then creating something beautiful that connects you back to that time and place 🤍 . . . An exceptionally happy outdoor summer wedding ceremony exit at Winters Barns in Kent, after a beautifully intimate and highly emotive experience for Toni & Richard. Summer weddings, with their blue skies, outdoor settings and relaxed vibes, are one of my favourite types of weddings to capture.
